Team collaboration › Common situations
We've got our engagement survey results. Now what?
The survey shows where a team is strong and where it has room to grow. What it can't do is help the team work out why, and agree what changes. That's the part we help with.
What's often going on
- The numbers have been shared, and everyone's waiting to see what happens.
- Action plans get written, and the team doesn't feel any different.
- Nobody's quite sure what's behind a low score.
What helps
- Using the survey results to shape the work, not starting again
- The team's own read, and the pattern in it, so the conversation is about them
- A short list of things the team will actually do, checked again at around day 90
For this one, we'd usually start with your survey results, so we build on what you already know.

Does this replace our survey?
No. It sits alongside it. The more we can see, the better.
Can it work for several teams at once?
Yes. We work with programs that run across thousands of people, team by team.
